Our company is a leading provider of support services to the automotive industry, this however is for a non-automotive customer.
Our customer is located in Auburn, IN. They are looking for a temporary, contract Quality Engineer for an estimated 6 month project.
The work location is in Auburn, IN with some day trips to neighboring cities as needed in support of the project. You will work as an independent contractor for the duration of this project.
The right candidate will have more than 5 years of engineering experience. The customer has a problem that they will hand to you and expect that you will be able to implement short-term corrective actions and long-term, sustainable improvements to their processes and products.
Some visits to customer location(s) to validate process improvements will be necessary, but the majority of the work will be done at the manufacturing location in Auburn, IN.
Experience with foam, upholstery or furniture would be ideal, but not necessary.
Hourly rate is negotiable.
