North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Quality Resident Engineer - II to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist Production, Engineering, and Quality departments in developing, installing, and operating a system to provide on-site customer service in the areas of Engineering and Quality Control.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, plus 2 to 4 years of related manufacturing experience.
Experience in the quality function within automotive supplier manufacturing with some exposure to Customer Service is preferred.

Your Priorities
- Resides in a customer plant to provide Engineering and Quality Control services and to resolve quality issues with regard to NAL products.
- Conducts customer service calls to sort or repair products.
- Coordinates the resolution of quality issues with other NAL departments, customers, and suppliers.
- Performs technical and statistical investigations and analysis on production, quality, process, and equipment issues using standard NAL problem solving method.
- Prepares problem-solving reports indicating root-cause and recommending countermeasures.
- Creates and audits procedures, records, etc., for inspection and testing.
Requirements
