Job description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control processes to identify and address product or process non-conformances.
- Conduct regular quality assurance audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
- Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvement and efficiency.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and address the source of quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions to quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation of quality control and assurance activities.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Train and guide staff on new quality control and assurance procedures and policies.
- Participate in the review and development of product specifications to ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality control, quality assurance, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, AS9100, CAPA, non-conformance, and ISO 9001.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement quality control and assurance processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Proficiency in using quality control software and related tools.
- Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.
- Knowledge of the manufacturing industry's regulatory environment and compliance requirements.
