Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Senior Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the product life cycle. From design validation to preparing test validation, the Senior Quality Engineer will lead the quality team's efforts to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues while implementing robust quality management systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and control processes and procedures for all stages of product life and manufacturing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality standards and specifications for new products and components.

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and failure mode analysis to identify potential quality issues and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality non-conformances, ensuring timely resolution and prevention of recurrence.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance product quality and efficiency.

  • Actively participate in supplier quality management activities, including audits, supplier evaluations, and corrective action plans.

  • Stay current with industry trends, standards, and regulations related to quality management and incorporate best practices into company processes.

  • Provide both firmware and hardware quality teams with detailed and thorough test plans.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering roles within the robotics, automation, aerospace or manufacturing industry.

  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, SPC).

  • Experience with quality management system standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485).

  • Proficiency in quality assurance techniques, including statistical analysis, measurement systems analysis, and validation/verification.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results.

  • Experience with robotics or mechatronics systems is a plus.
