Quality Assurance Inspector
Urban Engineers of New York, D.P.C is actively seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to work as part of our distinguished team for upcoming projects in New York City at the John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
Responsibilities
- Conducts reviews and verifications of construction schedules, baseline, and updates, in coordination with the client.
- Coordinate work with various airport departments.
- Perform construction inspection tasks including:
- Assessing adherence to contract documents
- Quality assurance procedures for
- Structural steel
- Concrete
- Masonry
- Fireproofing
- Fire Stopping
- Foundations
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years construction inspection experience with airport experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NYC Building Codes.
- Active certifications for
- OSHA 30
- ICC Structural Welding Special Inspector
- ICC Steel & Botling Special Inspector
- ICC Masonry Special Inspector
- ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician
- Candidates must also have their own vehicle and have a valid driver's license. Candidates will receive mileage reimbursement for duty-related driving.
