SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with an hour for lunch.
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Temp to Perm
PAY RATE: Competitive
DESCRIPTION: Join our Biotechnology Company in Westview, Miami, as a Quality Control Labeling Inspector I, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining high inventory accuracy and integrity within our Tissue Bank. This position involves final product labeling and inspections, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and AATB standards. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Prepare the QC Labeling areas as per SOPs.
• Perform a final inspection of products for proper specifications, label accuracy, and compliance with regulations and quality requirements.
• Combine components for final products.
• Apply labels to the final product and add package inserts, boxes, etc.
• Maintain accurate inventory of post-processing, and quarantine products (frozen and room temperature).
• Perform disposition of nonconforming products as directed.
• Coordinate and stage products for sterilization.
• Monitor freezers and respond to alarms.
• Support nonconformance investigations, when applicable.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations and standards related to storage, handling, labeling, and inspections of tissue.
• Maintain effective communication with management to address issues promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Able to stand for an extended period.
• Able to lift 25 lbs. without assistance.
• Infrequently lift, push, pull, and carry boxes weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Walk, squat, and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes, with or without reasonable accommodation.
