The Quality Control Inspector plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GAT processes. This position is responsible for performing incoming and outgoing inspections of aircraft parts and materials along with required production procedures. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Quality Control and Projects, the ideal individual should be quality-oriented and attention to detail, self-motivated, reliable, and able to multi-task, to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to meet quality product expectations.Responsibilities:Conduct a complete visual inspection of all incoming parts and materials, including inspecting items being shippedEnsure products meet company standards before they are sent out or placed on the inventory shelvesHandling material with necessary precaution and in accordance with requirements for safe handlingReview material specifications to compare to inventory parts Ensures production and processes adhere to standards with legal requirements Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting a visual inspection, and communicating required adjustments to the production department Document inspection results by completing reports and logs for quality assurance Qualifications:High School diploma or GED equivalent 1-2 yrs. Quality Control Inspector experienceMust be A&P Certificated under 14 CFR Part 65. Airframe license at a minimum. Familiar with ATA106 and ATA300 SpecificationsFamiliar with ISO9001, AS9120 and ASA-100 standardsFamiliar with procedures for completion of ATA106 certificate Familiar with procedures for Maintenance Release certificates such as 8130's, EASA Form One, Canadian Form one, etcBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills Must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written) Possess strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills Preferred Qualifications:Familiar with Quantum Software Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment#LI-CC1 #LI-Onsite
