ABOUT THE SPRINGHILL COMPANY:

ROLE OVERVIEW:
The SpringHill Company is seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern for 10 weeks to join our Shop team at The SpringHill Company. As the Brand Design Summer Intern, you will be focused on The Shop overall brand initiatives around the multi Emmy Award-winning series, "The Shop".
You will take part in building and driving The Shop ecosystem across internal cross-functional partners and develop tools to support driving the business. In addition, work directly with the creative team to help develop and build creative assets that support Shop initiatives. You will also support conducting the 2024 business planning process and creating insights and opportunities reports for the internal team.
As an intern with The SpringHill Company, you'll gain a strong understanding of the various business groups and the multitude of components supporting them. Along with hands-on experience, direct interaction with cross-functional teams, and project-based assignments, you'll have an opportunity to receive mentorship from The SpringHill company leaders, networking opportunities, and exposure to stakeholders across the entire company.
REPORTS TO: Director, The Shop
RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Become immersed in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where innovation and critical thinking are key
    • Demonstrates a keen interest in understanding business and organizational goals, and a desire to learn industry best practices and grow in an enterprise organization
    • Gain industry experience by working across various cross-functional teams

    • Project Specific:
    • Support on Shop Live and HBCU tour
    • Collaborate with the creative team to design creative assets across all initiatives
    • Conduct brand marketing research on industry trends, cultural insights, and brand activations and build a presentation with insightful analysis and present findings

    • Day to Day Support:
    • Help schedule cross-functional meetings, draft agendas, and send out recap notes
    • Update presentation decks that support various phases of a creative idea or project
    • Manage Monday.com submissions and update all projects
    • Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects and achieve goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business, or related studies and interested in pursuing a career in the same field
    • Must be based in Los Angeles, CA
    • Strong skills with design and illustration tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
    • Excellent project management skills, strong attention to detail, highly proactive, able to juggle multiple/shifting priorities and meet tight deadlines
    • Highly resourceful, tenacious, and able to work autonomously
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Trustworthy with sensitive information
    • Excellent proficiency in Google Suite, Keynote, and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Relentless curiosity, passion for building brands, and good humor
    • Knowledge of sports, entertainment, social media, and pop culture
    • Previous internship experience in related field is a plus

$17.27 - $17.27 an hour
