Job Description
We have a temporary opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector at a manufacturing facility in Providence, Rhode Island.
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting components from various contracted manufacturers and inspecting/releasing finished products. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will inspect, test, and measure materials using rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers. The Quality Control Inspector accepts or rejects finished items, writes Quality rejections for defects, and records inspection and test data. The Quality Control Inspector also releases finished products after verification of work in-process and final inspections are complete. In addition, the Quality Control Inspector will assist the QA team with validation activities in accordance with the Quality Management System and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED/equivalent
- Previous Quality Inspection experience in a chemical, medical device, or pharmaceutical environment is a plus
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, cGMP, and QSR preferred
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office; Unipoint experience is a plus
- Able to read and understand drawings, specifications, and inspection tools (rulers, calipers, pin gages, etc.)
- Experience with testing equipment, such as tensile testers and burst testers preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
We are offering $19.00-$20.00 per hour, operating on 1st shift 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
