Job description and responsibilities:
-To examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.
- This is a contract position.
-Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
-Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced. measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometer.
- Accept or reject finished items. Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products. report inspection and test date.
- Maintain records as required
Required Qualifications for the positions
-Education: Associate Degree or Bachelors in electronics or other technical discipline preferred.
-Job experience: Two to four six years of previous quality assurance experience in the electronics or power industry or equivalent is required.
- Technical / Professional skills: Production and processing; knowledge of raw materials, production processes, Quality Control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Quality Control Analysis; conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. Demonstrated strong proficiency with computer software to include MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint and email.
-Leadership skills, if appl; Setting and defining objectives and goals. establishing priorities. Time management - managing one's own time
-General skills - (language, IT, Etc.): Effective communications skill, written and oral, are required.
- Personal Skills ( Traits, Attributes): Dependable, Reliable, Accuracy positive attitude and energy, problem solving and decision making.
This position requires extensive periods of standing and bending to perform essential functions. good vision. Additional physical requirements sitting, reaching, hand dexterity, speaking, seeing, and lifting/moving up to 40 pounds.
