What We're Looking For
The QC Chemical Lab Analyst shall be responsible for performing Quality Control tests and documentation review to ensure products are of the appropriate quality, responding to and investigating customer (internal or external) inquires, and complying with all SOPs while guiding the daily activities of the Quality Control Laboratory.
What You Will Do
- Review and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain an understanding of all Quality Control and Safety SOPs
- Review and disposition Quality Order Reports, new item set-up documentation and manufacturer item approval submissions
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends by attending trainings, reading journals, books, and other appropriate literature
- Respond to all chemical spills (Code 7)
- Assist with complaints directed to Quality Control
- Data entry and analysis, including interpretation
- Record, troubleshoot and report equipment failure to QC Team Lead
Who You Are
- Bachelor of Science Degree
- At least two years of experience in Quality Control Lab performing QC tests and interpreting results within specified guidelines
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and coaching skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Ability to think analytically, solve problems and provide resolution to conflicts
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- 2 years’ experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, an ERP system(s)
