Job Title: Quality Control Inspector - Food Manufacturing

Location: Grand Rapids, MI (near Standale)

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:30pm - 12:30am

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team on the afternoon shift. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the food products meet or exceed regulatory and company standards. Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.

· Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests on products, documenting and reporting any deviations or non-conformances.

· Utilize testing equipment and tools to assess product attributes such as weight, temperature, texture, and appearance.

· Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.

· Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and any corrective actions taken.

· Participate in the development and implementation of Quality Control procedures and policies.

· Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to uphold a culture of quality awareness.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in Quality Control in the food manufacturing industry.

· Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality standards.

· Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.· Ability to operate testing equipment and tools.

· Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Ability to work the specified shift hours (2:30pm - 12:30am, Monday - Thursday).
