GENERAL
The Quality Assurance Technician provides technical support in manufacturing, maintenance, manufacturing, R&D, quality control and other company departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Completes training as applicable for GMP related tasks.
- Conducts routine maintenance activities per approved schedules and non-routine maintenance as requested.
- Conducts manufacturing, quality control and R&D tasks per approved operational procedures or as defined by the requestor of the tasks.
- Expedites parts, documents and other required items by phone and direct pickup.
- Follows applicable general operating procedures.
- Maintains company working areas and local environment in accordance with applicable general operating procedures.
- Assures that all measuring instruments that are used are within calibration limits.
- Assures individual and group safety when conducting all activities.
- Maintains effective communications with associates in daily activities.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- A high school diploma.
- Must be able to speak. read and write and communicate well in English.
- Prior mechanical troubleshooting or maintenance experience preferred.
- Prior experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment.
- Possession of a U.S. Driver's license.
- Computer skills.
