Quality Assurance Medical Records Reviewer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Medical Records Reviewer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Medical Records Reviewer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Medical Records and documentation.

Skills:

• Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, and the Internet
• Must have adequate knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
• Must possess strong verbal and grammar skills
• Must have at least a year in related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing and summarizing Medical Records
• Preparation of charts by confirmation of all included records and removal of duplicate records and unnecessary documents
• Organization of reports
• Ensures content, format, and professional appearance of the reports are completed at the highest level of quality and integrity
• Confirmation of all records for inclusion in reports
• Performs Quality Assurance review of reports, addendums or records reviews
• Review reports for grammar, medical terminology and content accuracy
• Ensures clear, concise, evidence-based rationales have been provided in support of all recommendations and/or determinations
• Ensures that all client instructions and specifications have been followed and that all questions have been addressed
• Identifies any inconsistencies within the report and obtains clarification, modification or correction as needed
• Ensures that each review is supported by clinical citations and references when applicable

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 22 per week
