SalaryOur amazing office in Savage is looking to hire a Licensed Dental Assistant for approximately 27-30 per week. You must be friendly, enthusiastic, detail orientated and dependable. We are a fast paced office with no drama, fun people, and we have the latest technology. This position is only available as our 18 year Dental Assistant is retiring.
```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and set up dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
```Qualifications```
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Proficient in medical documentation systems and record keeping
- Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
- Familiarity with taking vital signs and monitoring patient comfort
- Understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to assist with medical imaging procedures, such as intraoral and extraoral radiography
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
