Position Summary: Our Internship program offers students an opportunity to receive training in a professional environment. Throughout your internship you will gain on-the-job experience while working along side experienced professionals who provide you with both guidance and autonomy as you work on challenging projects. Our internship programs run typically May - August each year.
Project and responsibilities: The goal of this project is to implement a system for identifying the calibration requirements, and tracking the calibration status, and location of all onsite measurement devices.
5S Calibration equipment, AS9100 Compliant System for tracking tools, calibration status, and locations
Apply organizational and engineering skills as well as ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management System requirements to implement a system for tracking and maintaining calibrations of critical measurement equipment.
Work with multiple internal and external customers to meet their needs as well as the requirements of the Quality Management System while developing a forward compatible system.
Identify all measurement equipment
Determine the calibration requirements all measurement equipment
Create a database of pertinent information
Install identification system for each device
Integrate the new system into an existing electronic management system
Formalize the system into a controlled document
Required Qualifications:
Degree Program: Completion of Junior year + in a bachelors' degree program in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
US Citizenship required
