POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, this position is responsible for testing software for various sport software applications, including scripting, maintenance, testing, documentation and potentially some basic programming. This is a part-time opportunity perfect for a student who is pursuing a degree within the technology/ computer science field. Work hours can be flexible to fit candidate's schedule, but all work is done in office as this is not a remote position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Schedule and conduct tests
• Resolve conflicts to meet test objectives
• Record any and all constraints on testing
• Provide full documentation of all deviations from the test plan
• Capture all data required to support test findings
• Produce clear and objective reports of test result data, including how results reflect the system’s conformance to the set requirements
• Suggest refinements to system requirements
• Assess the testing process, including methods of improvement
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Experience with graphics programs
• Knowledge of HTML, Python, or C++ useful
• Detailed documentation skills required
• Basic skills / knowledge in computer systems required
• Statistical knowledge required
• Knowledge of software testing procedures and object-oriented programming language highly preferred but not required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Student enrolled in college- preferably studying a technology/ computer science related degree
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Experience with graphics programs
• Knowledge of HTML, Pthyon, or C++ useful
