This position requires specialized skills and knowledge to handle the challenges and complexities of the offices and project quality activities. With authoritative decision-making this role's recommendations have a significant impact on regional and offices quality policies and programs. This role directs the work of assigned quality personnel.
• Oversee technical quality (i.e., adherence to client, regulatory agency, and company requirements), perform administrative functions (i.e., budgeting, forecasting, staffing, etc.), and help to maintain harmonious client relations
• Communicate effectively with all labor grades, and contribute ideas that stimulate positive direction of business line personnel
• Serve as project Quality Assurance Manager,
• Facilitate the implementation of the Operating System Requirements (OSR) and/or Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP) on projects as necessary,
• Manages Project internal/external audits and surveillance activities,
• performs other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eighteen (18) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty-two (22) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical preferred
• Advanced degree (e.g., Masters degree or global equivalent) in engineering discipline/technical field, or administration area preferred
• Professional engineering registration preferred
• NQA-1 Lead Auditor certification, internal Lead Auditor certification required
• Eighteen (18) years of related quality/project experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills

• working knowledge of 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR830, DOE O 414.1d, ASME NQA-1
