Quality Assurance (Automation) Intern

Overview: 

HealthEdge is on a mission to drive a digital transformation in healthcare through transaction automation and the enablement of real-time business and clinical engagement among healthcare payers, providers and patients and we are excited to offer our summer internship program for the 6th year!  

HealthEdge offers a paid 12-week virtual internship program that allows students to work on meaningful projects, learn about working in a SaaS company, and have fun along the way! While you are aligned to a specific team throughout the internship, you will get exposure to most of our departments and strategic initiatives via our HealthEdge 101 weekly series. In addition, we provide special events such as our Executive Roundtable and a Fireside Chat with our CEO. But that's not all! You will also have the opportunity to participate in workshops focused on resume writing, presentations, interview preparation, and more.  

We are currently hiring a Quality Assurance (Automation) Intern to support our Source product. With Source, we're changing the industry narrative, providing a more holistic approach to payment integrity that focuses on comprehensive reimbursement, agile editing, and integrated analytics. Our interoperable, cloud-based solution is modular to meet a health plan's needs today and is extensible to grow with their organization over time-bringing disparate parts of a payer's organization together for improved accuracy and insights. The automation team is responsible for reducing the dependency on manual testing by automating some of the quick wins, ensuring the quality of the product.

As a QA (Automation) Intern, you'll have the ability to: 

• Leverage test automation framework for UI and API  
• Work on automating Source UI application 
• Work on automating API for microservices 
• Work on data validation automation for the data team 
• Work with Azure DevOps tool to implement CI execution 
• Use ADO dashboard in-depth to analyze the quality of the application 
• Work with ADO RestAPI to empower automation testing process 

We ask that you are: 

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related technology major 
• A strong verbal and written communicator  
• Collaborative 
• Able to take direction from senior members of the automation team 
• Open to receive, and give, feedback, share ideas
