Position Summary: This position is responsible for documenting and performing testing activities for the company’s core systems.
Primary Duties:
Review documentation to understand testing requirements, test environments and objectives
Create and implement effective test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and accuracy of the software/applications across different platforms and devices.
Develop test scenarios and test cases
Provide input to the estimation process for the testing and timelines
Identify test data needs and work with appropriate teams to ensure data is available during the testing phases
Work collaboratively to identify solutions and resolve variance from product/application specifications
Ask questions to uncover and identify varying customer needs
Document and analyze test results and provide analysis to the development team
Communicates status proactively to the Management Team and Project Manager to include, but not limited to, overall quality of project. Raise outstanding issues through established channels
Work effectively as a team, supporting other team members in achieving project/ business objectives
Conduct testing in accordance with established information security and information privacy policies and guidelines
Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and with business units
Actively participates in all project meetings
Coordinate testing of applications/products supported as per project plan
Provide subject matter expertise and analysis on specific applications
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing solutions
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
May be required to lead the work activities of a small team of people in support of testing, if applicable
Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, and EEO/AA/Fair Employment Practices.
Minimum Educational & Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of user acceptance testing experience or minimum of five years experience in the banking industry
- Must possess a good understanding of the banks’ core systems, products and workflow
- Experience in analyzing test results, problem solving, using personal computer, spreadsheet software, query programs, and other techniques

- High level of detail orientation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Ability to work well on a team with all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure on projects while being attentive to details and target dates
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Strong MS Excel experience and knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills
Physical Demands:
In terms of an 8-hour workday, “occasional” equals 1% to 33%, “frequent” equals 34% to 66%, and “continuous” equals 67% to 100%. However, some duties are performed monthly, annually, or sporadically throughout the year and are essential functions.
