Quail Run Behavioral Health Hospital Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and talented Quality Specialist candidate to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.
Summary:
The Quality Specialist provides support to the Director of PI/Risk. The Specialist will lead data collection and auditing from various resources within the facility.
The Quality Specialist is responsible for assisting in the performance improvement program and activities at the direction of the Director. This position also assists in meeting the requirements of all regulatory agencies, TJC, CMS and state and federal agencies, including collecting data as required by each agency and for any corrective actions. Also, keeps logs of incidents and complaints and manages the process for lost patient belongings.

Quail Run Hospital is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. Quail Run features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Quail Run.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Associate's degree in healthcare or equivalent in experience required.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in quality/PI in a health care setting
- Knowledge of performance improvement/quality management concepts and techniques
- Exceptional Microsoft Office skills required with the ability to master other database and software programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Access, etc.)
- Knowledge of statistical tools and displays
- Knowledge of Regulatory requirements of external review organizations (i.e. Joint Commission, Public Health, etc.)
- Ability to work with all levels of staff
- Ability to develop and maintain a professional, customer service-related profile with outside liaisons
- Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
