- Inspect products using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, and vision prior to shipment.
- Assist in data collection.
- Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.
- Interact with Government Source Inspector as needed.
- Test incoming and finished product and raw materials.
- Verify conformance to specifications for reinforcement, finished product, or any equipment used in the production process.
- Perform final and daily inspections of finished product.
- Experience in Quality Control functions in a reinforced concrete pipe manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
- Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Knowledge of concrete batching design.
- Ability to frequently lift heavy objects.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- ACI/QCAST/VDOT certifications preferred.
- Must reside in the continental U.S. within the assigned region. No relocation assistance is provided.
- Must have a valid driving license.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Typical Physical Demands: Physical agility and may require any or all of the following: standing, sitting, walking, climbing, reaching, bending/stooping, lifting (50lbs. max), pushing/pulling (50lbs. max); finger grasp, power grasp, wrist twist, balance; all may occur over an eight-hour period.
