Position Details
- Graduate Research Assistants (GRA) are expected to participate and perform all the research experiments in the lab, actively engage in routine laboratory practice, ordering laboratory reagents, and routine maintenance of the laboratory equipment.
- The GRA is responsible to report all the laboratory data and findings to the advisor, present data in weekly lab meeting, attend conferences to present the research results when available.
- GRA are expected to conceive and pursue research projects, design experiments, prepare draft of manuscripts and efficiently maintain research ethics.
- In this role, the GRA will be responsible for the day to day routine laboratory research issues and should report to advisor regularly, finish all the Graduate course work and preliminary exam requirements within two years from the date of joining.
- Currently enrolled as an Auburn University graduate student
- Must be enrolled in the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program.
