Qc Chemist

The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting an American pharmaceutical organization that has an opening for a QCChemist near Rocky Mount, NC!

Responsibilities

• Performs chemical analyses (dissolution, assay/degradant, content uniformity and ID) of pharmaceutical products in a GMP laboratory.
• Meets testing deadlines.
• Data entry
• Perform laboratory upkeep – stock supplies, chemicals, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related.
• 1 year experience
• Understanding of analytical chemistry instrumentation (HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Automation, Spectroscopy – UV/Vis, NIR, IR, or AA/AE)

Additional Details:

• Onsite position
• Position type: 6-month contract with potential for extension/conversion
• Shift: 4x10 hour shifts – 9am-7pm
• Pay rate: $21-23.50/hr depending on experience.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
