Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tests to assess concrete mixes for workability, strength, and durability to ensure reliability.
- Collaborate on designing concrete mixes and recommend improvements for optimal performance.
- Conduct experiments to understand the effects of additives on concrete properties, contributing to cutting-edge research.
- Share your findings with project managers and team members, driving projects forward.
- Job site QA/QC may be required based on demands of the business
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and tools for precision and reliability.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Experience as a Concrete Lab Technician or related position in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of concrete testing procedures, including slump tests, compressive strength tests, and air content tests.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and tools, such as compressive strength machines, viscometers, and air entrainment meters.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project management and construction teams.
