Duties include:

test new features as they are being developed

reproduce bugs and other issues reported by users

uncover problems before software is released to production

write clear and detailed bug reports in JIRA

develop and debug web-based automated tests written in Java leveraging tools like Selenium Webdriver

configure, maintain, update continuous integration solution utilizing Jenkins

ensure that critical bugs are reviewed and prioritized

collaborate with people across the whole organization

maintain a commitment to high quality standards

investigate new tools and technologies to automate and improve testing

Requirements:

at least 5 years experience with manual and automated testing for web-based applications, using tools like Selenium Webdriver

experience testing in multiple browsers and versions and on mobile

good working knowledge of Java, Maven, git, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP

experience testing for security concerns

experience testing APIs

able to mentor junior QA engineers

strong problem-solving and investigation skills, to find the true cause of defects

excellent verbal and written communication skills

experience supporting mission-critical applications

comfortable working in an agile environment

extreme attention to detail

Not required but would be a plus in your favor:

knowledge of PHP MVC frameworks, especially Laravel

experience with Salesforce.com

financial services industry experience
