Incumbent will create and document test plans, execute tests, analyze results, and report problems and anomalies, all via the lens of business end users. Candidate must be local to the Atlanta, GA metro area to be considered for this opportunity.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate in Agile approach to support testing needs
- Work closely and collaboratively with business partners, PMO and Vendor technical delivery teams to understand business requirements
- Ensure software testing is done on-time and as planned and notify management about bottlenecks and other issues and risks
- Assist Business subject matter experts and business analysts in the development of UAT test scenarios leveraging SIT test cases
- Participate in defect triage meetings and demos
- Report weekly status to Quality Assurance Testing Lead
Experience Requirements:
- Experience in testing Salesforce applications.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with testing in software development projects.
- Creating and documenting test plans, executing tests, analyzing results and reporting problems and anomalies, all via the lens of business end users - Required 4 Years
- Experience in mid-scale or large-scale system development projects (including using test automation, test strategy, developing and executing test scripts and test plans)
- Familiarity with defect management tools (HP ALM, Bugzilla, JIRA etc.) - Required 4 Years
- Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies - Required 4 Years
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Well organized
Specialized Experience:
- Experience in quality assurance concepts and best practices
- Experience creating test cases and writing manual test scripts
- Experience in running tests for application functions
- Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies
- Familiarity with defect management tools (HP ALM, Bugzilla, JIRA etc.)
- Preferred to have experience with Insurance domain
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or similar plus 4 years of experience with testing in software development projects required.
