A leading digital streaming network is seeking a QA Analyst. The successful candidate will maintain a high-quality standard product by creating comprehensive test suites for all of our platforms and providing accurate test estimates for our development team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in reviewing product requirements, creating test plans and testing Software applications for Mobile and/or OTT. QA Analyst Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $60/hr
• Worksite: Leading digital streaming network (Remote, Candidates must be located in the United States, Candidates in Pacific Time preferred, Must work Pacific office hours)
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
• 40 hours/week, 4 Month Assignment, Possibility of extension

QA AnalystResponsibilities:

• Maintain a high-quality standard product by creating comprehensive test suites for all of our platforms and providing accurate test estimates for our development team.
• Execute manual functional test runs throughout feature development
• Effectively communicate test results to our engineers and product managers through proper communication pipelines.
• Critically think about the level and complexity of testing required in each stage of the software development life cycle.
• Provide feedback on product design to give users the best possible customer experience.
• Develop more efficient ways to complete full regressions across several builds.
• Inspire confidence in the development teams and product stakeholders.
• Communicate testing best practices to the various QA teams.
• Manage, create, edit and execute our various test suites across all of our platforms, TV and Mobile devices.
• Take ownership of the testing for the assigned scrum team to ensure quality standards and requirements are met.
• Validate and verify all tasks, stories and defects throughout our development cycles.
• Prioritize incoming issues and document steps to reproduce, as well as observed and expected system behavior.
• Actively participate in daily standups, sprint planning and sprint ceremonies with an emphasis on optimizing testing cycles/resources with product and development teams to deliver shippable features.
• Coordinate with the rest of the QA team to analyze and improve the QA process.
• Review requirements, specifications, and design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Organize and triage defects logged by our external test team.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analyzing requirements, developing test plans, test cases, and executing of test scripts.
• Work with support teams to triage and reproduce issues.
• Create and communicate weekly test reports to our Company Leads, Managers and stakeholders.
• Additional duties and responsibilities, as needed.

QA AnalystQualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in reviewing product requirements, creating test plans and testing Software applications for Mobile and/or OTT.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree, or a Certificate in Quality Assurance training program.
• Experience with Agile methodology and working in Scrum teams.
• Experience in mobile and/or OTT testing.
• Experience in analyzing various types and causes of defects (API vs Client).
• Experience as a QA liaison to various scrum teams.
• Experience in test case creation and management programs like TestRail.
• Background in functional testing with the ability to identify test cases that are optimal candidates for automation is a plus.
  
• Working knowledge of Xcode and test automation tools is a plus.
  
• Knowledge of various streaming technologies and services is a plus.
• Proficient in Jira or any other bug-tracking tools.
• Knowledge of device debugging tools such as Charles Proxy.
• Understanding of Software Development life cycle and Software Testing life cycle.
  
• Excellent Communication skills.
  
• Able to work independently without much supervision.
  
• Great problem-solving and analytical skills.
