Qa Test Analyst

POSITION PURPOSE

The responsibility of the QA Test Analyst is to work with Project Managers and testers from the business along with the developers and IT to ensure proper test environments and tools are made available and to assist the business through the testing of new enhancements, projects and technology delivery. The QA Test Analyst’s role is critical to ensuring environments are scheduled and for keeping testing flowing effectively and efficiently through the various test lanes, escalating any scheduling and prioritization conflicts which may arise. In addition, the goal is to continually improve our library of automated and manual tools and processes to ensure we are always improving.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate build up and tear down of test environments as needed
• Drive QA test process with the business
• Provide help and assistance in creation of test plans to the business
• Scheduling of test environment
• Continuous improvement of manual and automated tools and processes
• Training and mentoring of test process for the business
• Work with business and developers for debugging and root cause resolution
• Development and maintenance of automation test cases
• Translate technical requirements into automated and manual test scripts
• Create comprehensive and well-defined test scripts that are traceable back to requirements
• Execution of functional, regression and integration tests across a wide range of Enterprise Systems
• Writing automation test code using C# or other compiled languages

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 or 4 Year technical degree, equivalent experience, or applicable certifications
• 3-5 Years of proven QA Test experience
• Proficiency at buildup and teardown of test environments
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytic skills and data orientation
• Ability to work effectively as an individual and in teams with minimal direction
• Strong team player, with proven skills working effectively with people at all levels within an organization
• Proficiency in various IT methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
• Experience in test design, test suite, test automation, testing methodologies
• Expertise with XUnit, Junit, Mock, Stub and or other testing frameworks
• Exposure to .NET languages preferred
