As a Residential Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct individual counseling sessions and facilitate engaging group sessions.
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in the electronic health record of clients/patients.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Coordinate discharge planning for a seamless transition for clients.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and advocate for clients to ensure holistic care.
  • Offer case management services to enhance overall well-being.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).
  • Proven proficiency in both oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public, team members, and elected officials in a positive manner.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; and hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to walk, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch. (The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds).
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Keyboard data entry required.
