#12818 - Automation Qa Test Analyst Ii

Q Analysts/QualiTest is looking for a Automation QA Test Analyst II for a project with one of its clients who is a leader in the Virtual Reality space. We are looking for someone with testing skills on mobile or standalone devices, preferably Android based as well as web applications testing. Role focuses on manual testing of the functionality for our client’s current and future VR products.

• Experience with using operating system level APIs, and testing SDKs and applications on embedded devices/systems.
• Experience with JavaScript
• Experience with python
• Experience with Automation
• Experience with documentation testing and building developer SDKs after reviewing Developer notes.
• Experience with analyzing requirements, test planning/execution, automated testing and reporting.
• Experience with mobile software development.
• Experience with modern source control systems, such as Git, Subversion, or Perforce
• Comfortability extending and improving an established code base.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues.
• Excel in a fast-paced, agile environment supporting multiple projects using a wide variety of technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience creating custom tools to facilitate game/app development is a plus.
• Understanding of game engine architecture is a plus.
• Experience designing and implementing User Interfaces is a plus.
• Knowledge of render pipelines, camera control, and lighting is a plus.
• Experience with 3D computer graphics/AR/VR is a plus.
• Experience implementing networked multiplayer games is a plus.
• Scripting knowledge of Powershell and Shell scripting is a plus.
• Experience with game engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.) is a plus.

Requirements

• Solid ability to troubleshoot and identify bugs both visually and through various interfaces.
• Experience with JavaScript (Must have)
• Experience with python (Must have)
• Knowledge of working with Android APK’s, Android ADB
• Strong extroverted personality and excellent interpersonal communications skills
• Ability to take initiative and own a problem through resolution regardless of blocking dependencies. The candidate should be able to unblock themselves where reasonable.
• Experience working in fast paced changing environments.
• Good documentation skills for bug reporting, status updates and written communication
• Ability to learn new tools that are built in-house.
• Ability to work independently.
