Qa Analyst Iii

Summary:
The main function of a QA analyst is to develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. The QA test analyst will typically learn the policies and processes of the review. The QA analyst will also be in charge of providing written and oral project updates based on ongoing team processes.
Job Responsibilities:

• Design test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures.
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
• Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability.
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
• Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content.
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
• Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
• Create Project Plans with minimal supervision by asking clarifying questions to understand the project and problem statements
• Share verbal and written project updates with the team and relevant stakeholders

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, business administration or relevant field required.

Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
