The Purchasing & Warehouse Manager provides world-class service to internal customers by creating easy and seamless interactions with Shipping & Receiving, Warehousing, Beverage Inventory Transfer processes, and Purchasing transactions for all component operations of Edgewood Tahoe Resort. Essential Functions:
- Oversee Edgewood Tahoe Resort Buyers, processes and operations
- Setup, Maintain and Manage all storage locations, including cleanliness and record keeping
- Oversee Shipping & Receiving team members, processes and operations
- Oversee Warehousing team members, processes and operations
- Oversee Beverage Inventory Transfer processes
- Create and execute Purchase Orders for OS&E, FF&E, MRO and Inventory Purchases for Edgewood Tahoe Resort
- Provide policy and procedure support and training to all levels of the organization
- Communicate and coordinates with all departments to understand needs, anticipate and resolve issues

Qualifications / Special Skills:
- Minimum two years of Purchasing, Receiving, Warehousing and dock experience required
- Knowledge of computer-based Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping, and Inventory systems required
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and guest service skills required
- Ability to delegate responsibility, motivate and lead direct reports to achieve goals and objectives
- Familiarity with state and federal environmental standards and OSHA regulations
- Previous experience in a Hotel/Resort environment preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills needed
- Ability to prepare, organize, and report data on and generated by computer required
- Available to work varied shifts when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights
