Job Title: Warehouse Associate and/or Assistant Warehouse Manager

With a constant flow of customers and their products in and out of Nova’s facilities, Warehouse Associates are critical in ensuring product is received and released in a safe and orderly fashion. Warehouse associates, like sales associates, must ensure that they put their best face forward as they will be dealing directly with customers on a daily basis. They are the face of the company every time a contractor or customer comes to retrieve their order. It is a Warehouse Associates responsibility to ensure they provide a sense of professionalism and competence to every customer they engage.
Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors. Receive, store, move and pack outgoing materials, equipment, and other items from the warehouse.
Job Responsibilities

- Maintain awareness of customers in need of assistance
- Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner
- Assess customers priorities
- Retrieve and load customers material
- Maintain organized inventory for ease of viewing and access of retrieval
- Offload receivables, notify managers of materials arrival
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouses and parking lots
- Ensure material on invoices matches material to be loaded into customers vehicles
- Obtain customer signatures on Nova’s invoice copy
- Receive customer returns after manager approval
- Assess and report stock levels of setting materials, prefabs and slabs to manager
- Alert managers of priority customers, problems, or opportunities
- Ensure customers are happy with their experience in your department

There will always be opportunities to go above and beyond and every warehouse associate will be given responsibilities unique to them, should these duties fall outside the purview of direct managers, report to the appropriate department or manager as advised by your direct manager.'
