This position is accountable for processing and placing purchase orders related to the procurement of goods and services with an emphasis on customer relations. The Purchasing Specialist researches, evaluates, and processes requisitions related to the purchase of supplies and services based on price, quality, and availability. Acts as primary hospital customer support in all phases of procurement.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of one year procurement in the healthcare industry in Inventory, Accounts Payable, or Customer Service Representative preferred.
- General office and data entry skills required.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
- Associate degree or college courses in a related field preferred.
POSITION DETAILS: Full time (80 hours per pay period). Day shift.
PAY RANGE: $20.60-$30.05
