The Role
This position is designed to support the Procurement team by providing day-to-day support in the receiving function of the warehouse. Along with purchasing, receiving, staging, and entering into the system, this position will also have the responsibility of picking up and delivering material to the warehouse or job site. We’re looking for an exceptional warehouse associate to help us achieve our operating plan. As a Purchasing and Warehouse Specialist, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to carry out the appropriate operations in order to assure the quality of service we offer to our clients. You will work with our staff to maintain a safe and accountable workplace.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating suppliers by considering price, quality, availability and other criteria
- Maintain a proper purchase order system
- Monitoring inventory levels and determining purchase needs with appropriate vendors
- Preparing and processing purchase orders.
- Maintaining records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, and payments
- Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies
- Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier relations.
- Organizing department on a day to day basis to reach daily service and installation goals
- Ensures timely and accurate receiving, staging, ticketing, placement, planning, distribution, delivery and replenishment of parts and materials
- Stays in touch with installation crews to assist with unexpected needs. Ensures that required materials are filled and delivered
- Ensures that documentation and returns of overstocks and warranted parts and materials are handled appropriately to ensure receipt of credits. Follow-up on credit postings.
Requirements
- Track record in delivery/warehouse operations, with 1+ years is a plus.
- Maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability to load and unload heavy equipment 50-75 lbs.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and exceptional follow-through abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communications.
- Quick, sound decision-making abilities.
- Ability to build trust and demonstrate empathy.
- Passionate about RR Electric Heating & Air and motivated towards accomplishing company goals.
- Engaging personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Ability to inspire and motivate others in the workplace.

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20-$24hr
