JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Enrollment Coordinator Asst./Accounting andPurchasing Asst.
Department: Administration
Reports To: Business Manager
Salary Range: $41,600 to $51,000, annually
Position Type: Non Exempt
Schedule: 12 months
All employment at PSAS is under the PERA retirement plan. By accepting employment at PSAS you agree to participate in automatic payroll deposit and abide by all policies and procedures put forth by the administration of PSAS.

SUMMARY:
This person is critical in promoting our school as the first voice and/or face to be met by the potential new families and the greater Southern Colorado community. This position is responsible for managing the Enrollment process for all campuses in the PSAS Network. As well as supporting the business office with accounting processes. To qualify for this position, the individual will need to have excellent communication skills, exceptional knowledge of software, and technology systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the requisite knowledge, skills, and ability to be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. It is determined that in order to carry out the essential duties and responsibilities an individual must be able to work at a desk, conference table, or in meetings of various configurations; stand and circulate for extended periods; hear and understand speech at normal levels; see up close, at a distance, and have depth perception; communicate so others will be able to clearly understand normal conversations; bend and twist, stoop, kneel, run and crawl; reach in all directions; and lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Enrollment Coordination:
  • Maintain the waiting list for PSAS network
  • Manage the enrollment process for students at PSAS network.
  • Distribute, collect and e-file all enrollment and CUM files
  • Will be the main point of communication with families during the enrollment process.
  • Collaborate with the secretaries and principals at all campuses.

Accounting/Purchasing Assistant
  • Support business office using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software to prepare reports and/or special projects.
  • Welcoming visitors at the network office
  • Performing minor accounting and bookkeeping duties.
  • Working with the purchasing agent to process purchase orders.
  • Enter and maintain teacher's classroom budgets.

Professional
  • Other duties as assigned by Business Manager or Executive Director

  • Ability to treat confidential information with appropriate discretion

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:
  • Participation in payroll automatic deposit.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
MINIMUM REQUIRED:
  • High school graduate

PREFERRED:
  • Demonstrated technology proficiencies in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced skills in learning new software
  • Prior experience with PowerSchool school information software
  • Verifiable experience working in a position that required organizational and planning skills.
