Purchasing Assistant - West Berlin, NJ

We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join our team!
Location: West Berlin, NJ (on-site)
Position Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Salary: Starting at $25 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the procurement process for Toner Buzz, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing products.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier information.
- Perform regular price comparisons and negotiate with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and terms.
- Collaborate with the Office Manager and cofounder to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their reliability, quality, and pricing.
- Assist with the resolution of invoice discrepancies and discrepancies regarding the delivery of products or services.
- Assist with the scheduling of freight shipments to deliver products to or from the warehouse.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- E-commerce experience is a plus.
- Associates degree or higher preferred.
