Publisher Onboarding Specialist

Our company’s heart is to support the best content creators on the web, and as a Publisher Onboarding Specialist, we get to serve on the welcoming committee! We spend our days working through vital processes that contribute to the company’s success while also establishing relationships with new creators. This includes building trust throughout the process, coming up with creative ways to frame analytical data so that "non-numbers" people can understand it, and collaborating with a variety of internal teams to strategize and plan as we work toward making our services better for our community of creators.

As an Publisher Onboarding Specialist, you have experience in customer service and are the kind of person who enjoys helping people and going out of your way to make sure they’re happy. You understand the importance of a good first impression and have a keen sense of awareness about the human condition - how people are diverse, how they all need love and kindness. Helping someone in even the smallest way warms you to your core! You are an effective communicator, comfortable with change, and detail-oriented.

What you’ll be doing:

• Successfully preparing a creator for their ad install and setting expectations for their Raptive partnership
• Establishing an exceptional first impression of Raptive
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with creators
• Crafting thoughtful, detailed, and personal responses to creators in our support systems (Zendesk, Zoom, and LiveChat)
• Understanding ad layouts, earnings, and complex concepts and putting them into simple, clear terms
• Going above and beyond to provide creators with an exceptional, personalized experience
• Completing administrative tasks
• Collaborating with others and gathering data to find solutions
• Being an active member of a distributed team via tools like Slack, G Suite, Zoom, Salesforce, Confluence, and more

The skills and experience you bring to the job:

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
• Self-starter mentality - you know what needs to be done and don’t need someone to ask you to do it
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Laser-focused attention to detail
• A willingness to learn new things and adapt quickly to change
• A high level of comfort working in a fast-paced, remote environment
• Analytical thinker with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to solve challenging problems and propose clear solutions
• Empathy, emotional intelligence, patience, a sense of humor, and some moderate GIF sharing abilities
• The motivation to try and make everything you touch better
• A genuine desire to help others solve problems and succeed
• Familiarity with current blogging trends and insights is a plus!

The base salary range for this position is $45,000-$60,000. The range provided is Raptive’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation that isn’t included in the posted range.
