Public Relations Manager, Digital

TheManager, Catalyst (account management focus)role is a key position within Golin and is responsible for developing and executing product campaigns for a few of our well-known and loved brands. The Golin team supports these clients in launching new products, telling their stories, and planning/executing large scale events. 

We're looking for a dedicated team member with a can-do attitude who will develop and drive strategic and creative initiatives for these clients. The role includes serving as the daily client go-to for conceptualizing and executing plans and managing multiple members of a top-notch team on a variety of projects.

What You'll Do: 

• Serve as key day-to-day client contact 
• Develop comprehensive strategic integrated communication plans 
• Provide client counsel on tactical matters linked to strategic plans 

• Proactively generate new ideas and opportunities for the development of strategic client plans and assist with the creation of related budgets 
• Partner with key team members in the other g4 communities, including media, digital and creative specialists to develop and execute integrated campaigns that can work cross-channel 
• Serve as an integral member of the account team addressing the varied and changing needs of clients, proactively providing ideas and solutions 
• Develop strong client relationships based on the ability to think, react and act in a fast-paced environment 
• Develop an intimate knowledge of your clients' brands 

• Design and execute mid to large scale client events 
• Provide leadership and executional excellence during program implementation 
• Develop deep knowledge of relevant industry events 
• Manage external vendors 
• Assist with supervision and development of junior team members 

• Work well with a variety of key internal and external stakeholders 
• Excel at verbal and written client, interpersonal and intra-team communications 

What You Have: 

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline 
• 4+ years of PR agency or related professional communications experience 

• Proven ability to develop work that is client-ready with minimal oversight 
• Experience managing budgets and resources 
• A collaborative spirit, results driven with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines 
• Excellent organizational and planning skills; able to work quickly under pressure, handling and prioritizing multiple assignments 
• Experience working on large consumer brands 

• Experience managing and mentoring junior level team members  
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment 
• Demonstrable experience leading large client projects 
• Excellent writing, copy-editing, and proof-reading skills
