About the role
This support role in our Co-operative Public Relations team will enable the smooth running of the team, our virtual newsroom and the co-operative's own corporate channels, including the Foodstuffs North Island and Foodstuffs South Island websites and LinkedIn channels.
Reporting to the Channel and Content Manager - with a strong focus on organising and scheduling content - you'll support this wide community to collaborate, create and publish stories that serve to protect, promote, and maintain the reputation of Foodstuffs' corporate and retail brands in Media, Foodstuffs' websites and social (LinkedIn) channels.

A head for systems and processes
Agility to prioritise and collaborate, able to easily switch gears as we prepare for the expected and respond to the unexpected dealings that come with many stakeholders
Some financial acumen - Team budgeting and invoicing reconciliation
Diplomacy - comfortable talking to and communicating with senior internal stakeholders including and with external stakeholders including journalists and publishers and not afraid to speak up to get results
Confidence with social media, creating, compiling, and posting content on a business-to-business platforms.
Co-ordination, scheduling and delivery of content to owned channels
Organized planner who can develop systems, processes, and spreadsheets to ensure multiple stakeholders are on track and focused to delivery plan
Some backend website work - uploads to websites - checking images - swapping content
LinkedIn - an understanding of social platforms and creating content for a B2B audience
Storytelling and written skills a bonus but not essential
The ability to work autonomously and ensure your tasks are completed on time
You'll be flexible providing 1st on call cover at weekends and public holiday (this responsibility is shared between the five team members) and we'll need you to be there when it's an 'all hands-on deck' crisis response situation.
