Public Relations Coordinator
6 Month W2 Contract
Hybrid role; onsite required in New York, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in event-related logistics, providing onsite support, managing gifting initiatives, and overseeing product fulfillment.
- Create comprehensive recap decks highlighting event features, social media coverage, and media impressions for distribution to the team.
- Monitor media, track press placements, and analyze impressions to gauge campaign effectiveness.
- Compile assets for press requests and internal partners, including product imagery, fact sheets, and launch information.
- Manage product pulls for editorial, influencer, and VIP styling requests, coordinating in-store and online product ordering and tracking.
- Support brand gifting/seeding, including packaging, personalization logistics, and fulfillment, along with other administrative tasks.
- Act as a collaborative liaison to internal partners, fostering strong, trusting relationships and maintaining effective communication flow.
- Assist in the distribution of assets and communications to international client partners.
- Provide onsite support for global PR media initiatives during the summer and fall.
- Proactively strategize, troubleshoot, and create solutions as needed.
- Demonstrate a highly motivated and committed attitude, thriving in a busy work environment with enthusiasm and determination to deliver top-tier results.
- Manage tasks efficiently with high standards, meeting deadlines and handling time-sensitive requests.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of relevant, full-time PR experience in consumer, fashion, or beauty.
- PR roles within the last 5 years, preferably in the fashion/beauty or lifestyle space.
- Previous internship experience is helpful as an add-on but does not count towards the 3-4 years of relevant experience.
- Strategy-driven and results-oriented with a creative mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Resourceful, efficient, and able to perform with speed.
- Positive, can-do approach with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with onsite availability required.
