Job description

Lincoln Square Psychotherapy (LSP) seeks psychotherapist for our boutique practice. We offer high-quality psychotherapy both virtually and in-person, a variety of treatment modalities to diverse populations at affordable rates, and accept many insurance plans.

This position is ideal for someone with the long-term goal of working in private practice. We help market and train you while providing high-quality individual and group supervision towards your LCSW. We hope for a two-year commitment and encourage your clients to follow you once you are fully licensed.

Responsibilities:

- Phone consultations (optional)

- Individual psychotherapy (couples/family optional)

- Scheduling & electronic file management

- Individual and Group Supervision

- Maintain a caseload of 20 - 30 sessions per week

Work Experience:

One year of psychotherapy experience is preferred.

Skills:

Psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing are favored modalities in this practice. Specialty areas include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, racial identity, and LGBTQ+ issues.

Education:

An MSW from an accredited institution, as well as an active LMSW in the state of New York, is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
