PSYCHE MAGNETOMETER INVESTIGATIONS DATA ANALYST I, Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences (EAPS) (part-time, 50%), to process data produced by the Magnetometer on the Psyche mission under the direction of the magnetometry investigation lead, Professor Benjamin Weiss. The Psyche mission is NASA’s recently launched Discovery mission to explore the largest metal-rich body in the solar system, asteroid (16) Psyche.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: B.S. or B.A., preferably in geoscience, planetary science, physics, computer science or closely related field; and one year of relevant data analysis experience. PREFERRED: experience coding in Python, MATLAB and UNIX is preferred. Job #23517-6
This is a part time (50% effort) position. It will have a duration of least one year with the possibility of extension for multiple years.
