The MGH Cardiovascular Imaging Research Center (CIRC) seeks a dynamic and goal-oriented individual for a Data Analyst I position to work on ongoing and future research studies.
CIRC is a world-leading multidisciplinary academic research center with national and international scientific leadership in clinical trials and machine learning. CIRC faculty have lead major NIH- and industry-funded funded clinical trials using cardiac imaging, including the PROMISE (NEJM 2015) and REPRIEVE clinical trials (https://reprievetrial.org).
The Data Analyst I will have direct interaction on a team of approximately 35 people including multidisciplinary faculty, Research Fellows, Clinical Research Coordinators, Project Manager, Grants Administrator, and Grants Coordinator under the guidance of CIRC faculty. The optimal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, and is detail oriented with excellent technical, communication, and team skills. The individual in this position will be responsible for developing and evaluating machine learning models, data management, and statistical analysis of clinical research.

Primary anticipated responsibilities include:
- Data and statistical analyses using Python, R, Stata, and similar tools
- Development and evaluation of machine learning models involving medical imaging
- Data wrangling and data management.
- Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for data management.
- Maintaining IT infrastructure and collaborating with MGB IS and external vendors as needed.
- Close collaboration with CIRC faculty, research fellows, project managers, and clinical research coordinators
- Visualization of data and development of interactive tools
- Literature review and preparation of abstracts and manuscripts

- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
- A strong interest in participating in clinical and machine learning research
