Job Description
Pay Rate: $30 - $40/hr
Shift Times: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
JOB DESCRIPTION
The ability to create prototypes and perform rapid prototyping techniques using various tools and methods like 3D printing, CNC machining, and hand fabrication techniques is necessary.
Experience with mechanical testing methods and equipment to evaluate the performance and reliability of medical hardware prototypes, as well as an understanding of validation protocols and procedures, is required.
Candidates must possess strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and solve mechanical problems that may arise.
Strong documentation skills are necessary to maintain accurate records of design changes, test results, and project progress, along with familiarity with document control processes.
Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for working within multidisciplinary teams and conveying ideas, discussing designs, and reporting findings.
Precision and attention to detail are critical, along with adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.
Exposure to CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and drafting mechanical components and assemblies, as well as other engineering tools like FEA software
Adherence to safety protocols and procedures, commitment to maintaining high quality and reliability standards, and ethical conduct in handling proprietary or sensitive information are expected.

10. Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
1. Prepare project plans and project progress reports.

Test set-up and execution
Nice To Have
• Experience with automated testing environments; i.e. LabVIEW, Visual Studio, Ranorex etc.
Experience with solid modeling software such as Pro/Engineer or Solidworks
