Electrical Designer/Cadd Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Designer to join our team in our Colorado Springs office.  The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to develop construction documents in a collaborative environment of engineers within Bridgers & Paxton and working with architects and engineers within the Colorado community of design professionals.

In this position, the ideal candidate will have a diploma and/or certification from an accredited drafting technology program or equivalent work experience in CADD modeling within Revit and AutoCAD.  Other requirements include:

• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and other design related software
• Develop and design within a BIM design environment
• Performs basic building system distribution layouts and sizing under general supervision and non-routine layout and sizing under close supervision of the engineer and/or senior designer.
• Receives objectives and technical advice from project engineer/or senior designer.
• Ability to ask questions of the engineer/senior designer when design intent seems unclear or inconsistent.
•  Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment to with management and coworkers.
• Ability to complete work within established deadlines.
