Landscape Lighting Technician

Award-winning landscape architecture, construction, and maintenance company, Designs By Sundown has openings for a Landscape Lighting Technician to install outdoor lighting systems, including but not limited to; installation of light fixtures and transformers, trenching, basic wiring, testing, and repair. We are looking for skilled professionals with outdoor lighting, low voltage, and electrical troubleshooting experience. Full time with overtime, or part time available with extra pay for snow removal. Benefits include take-home vehicle, work phone, and excellent benefits package. Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Salary: $20.00 to $29.00 /hour

Responsibilities based on skill level:

• Lighting fixture and wiring install
• Install outdoor lighting systems, low voltage electric wiring, and lighting fixture repairs
• Transformer mounting and programming
• ZD/ZDC fixture coding
• Interpreting and following a lighting design plan
• Landscape lighting system checks/inspections
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Lighting fixture and wiring repairs

Requirements:

• Current and clean MVR
• Minimum 1 year experience low voltage lighting

While performing the duties of this job, the position is regularly exposed to outdoor environmental conditions including extreme hot and cold conditions.

Heavy lifting of 50 lbs., bending and crawling may be required.

Due to seasonal nature of work, overtime may be required.
