Description
The Manager, Commercial Operations will play a critical role in providing Orsini with the commercial insights and business development support needed to accelerate our business goals while supporting our mission of “no patient left behind”. We are looking for a cross functional and dynamic individual that can lead the preparation and process of biopharma proposals and bids.
- Lead proposal (RFP) review process from intake to submission. Ensure that all clinical, product, analytical and commercial considerations are incorporated into the development and submission of a proposal.
- Interface with sales leadership and partner cross functionally with product, clinical, nursing, operations to gather most relevant information and insights to drive commercial success.
- Ensure Commercial Operations tools: including RFP software are up to date. Partner with vendors as needed to evolve our software needs.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, customer requirements, competitor actions and customer base.
- Track, maintain and report on KPIs to drive continued business performance and success.
- Experience supporting specialty pharmacy, hub or biopharma sales or marketing teams in a business development capacity.
- Deep experience and joy executing detailed oriented responses for RFPs in a tight timeline.
- Ability to think strategically and consultatively combined with a strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter that thrives in RFP and business development work, critical thinking and cross functional work.
- Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy or biotech space.
- Knowledge of RFP software (ex: loopio)
- Knowledge other business intelligence systems
- RFP Process and Preparation: Own RFP process from intake to submission. Spearhead cross functional working team to deliver a high quality, customized proposal to client in timely manner.
- Maximize and maintain Commercial Tools: Update RFP software as needed to ensure tool is supporting and streamlining process.
- Reporting Insights: Analyzes data from RFPs, makes recommendations to Commercial Operations leadership.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in our current commercial processes and develop solutions for increased accuracy and efficiency.
