The Proposal Development Associate manages the pre-sale process for RFP/RFI opportunities, including coordinating and managing to submission timeline, sourcing compiling and reviewing responses from SMEs, coordinating costing and submitting our response. Responsible for managing our RFP content management software.
RFP Management 60%: Develops and manages the timeline and process related to RFP and Proposal Development, including submission of questions, final materials and scheduling with internal resources. Responsible for clear communication about progress with extended team and leadership. Sources, edits and when necessary helps create RFP responses materials and writes/formats/compiles content in collaboration with SMEs.
Lead Screening 20%: Makes initial outreach to inbound inquiries, screening based on provided criteria and directing to sales team where appropriate.
Content Library Management 20%: Owns the RFP content management system, keeping it updated with the latest RFP response content and proactively coordinating reviews/updates with internal SMEs.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently, as well as under account team leads, and manager multiple projects in a deadline-driven, high pressure environment.
- Proficiency in a wide range of computer software including Microsoft Office suite.
- Professional and persuasive written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Channel incentive/loyalty experience preferred. Exposure to RFP process preferred.
